Elon Musk Launches New AI Startup Xai Corp to Compete with OpenAI

Tech magnate Elon Musk has reportedly launched a fresh artificial intelligence (AI) start-up called Xai Corp, which is set to compete with his own brainchild, OpenAI, established almost a decade ago. This novel enterprise will be headed by Musk himself, while the position of secretary will be filled by Neuralink CEO Jared Bishal. Gossip has it that Musk has already accumulated a team of scholars for his latest venture.

This disclosure comes in the wake of the merger between Twitter and Xcomp, a recently established company that aims to develop an “all-in-one app.” The South African business magnate’s epistle to authorities calling for the regulation of AI and a worldwide pause in AI progress for half a year was also recently released. The message underscored the perils AI poses to civilization and humanity and recommended that society be given time to adapt to the breakneck pace of technological progress.
